Export to HTML

Publishing a Word document on the web? Export creates an accessible HTML page with all ACB styling built in. Read the export guide

What does export do?

Export converts your Word document to accessible HTML with ACB-compliant CSS styling. The output is ready to publish on a website. Choose between two formats depending on your publishing workflow.

Accepted format: .docx (Microsoft Word). Maximum size: 500 MB.

Sets the HTML page title. Leave blank to use the document's built-in title.

Export Format
Which format should I choose?
Standalone HTML
Choose this if you are publishing the page as its own web page, or hosting it on a static site. You get a complete HTML file plus the ACB CSS file, bundled in a ZIP. Upload both files to your web server.
CMS Fragment
Choose this if you are pasting content into a CMS like WordPress or Drupal. The fragment includes CSS scoped to a .acb-lp wrapper class so it does not conflict with your site's theme. Paste the HTML into your CMS's "Custom HTML" or "Code" block.
